What You'll Do
Cisco's vision is to transform the way we learn, live, play, and work. As part of the Cisco Digitization Office, you will join the Go-To-Market Acceleration (GTMA) team that is driving a transformation across Cisco to improve the company’s ability to deliver solutions built on intelligent networks to tackle customer challenges. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring GTMA achieves its strategic goals by crafting, improving, and maintaining quality messaging deliverables across all Cisco product families to our sales and partner audiences.
Who You'll Work With
The Go-To-Market Acceleration team is looking for a Content Manager and Creator who is able to move at a fast pace and deliver results with a deep inspection of detail. You will lead critical initiatives and be required to work multi-functionally with engineering and field sales, while delivering the highest quality level of messaging and materials. This position will require teamwork across the GTM Acceleration functional teams as well as the broader Cisco Digitization Office.
Who You Are
You craft customer-focused material that communicates Cisco’s capabilities to a customer. You provide a customer-in lens without rotating to a Cisco-out view by product line. You have strong interpersonal skills. You demonstrate superb communication skills, both written and verbal. You build and present messaging in a customer meaningful manner. You excel at visual communication and are detail oriented. You understand the drivers in the go-to-market space and how Cisco can impact change. You have experience communicating Cisco’s broad portfolio to customers, based upon the customer’s strategic goals. You are successful working cross functionally with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to ensure we are building the right content and messaging. You have proven the ability to produce high quality, engaging material, delivered on time. You use creativity, resourcefulness, and team focus in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing environment.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
BA/BS degree is required and 8+ years industry experience or equivalent preferred. An advanced degree is preferred.
You are able to work in the construct of a global team across time zones.
You have applied experience serving as a content manager, content designer, marketing, training/enablement, or overall professional messaging.
Knowledge of Cisco products and services required.
You work multi-functionally and autonomously across Cisco sales, services, and business units to influence direction
Shown leadership skills and ability to achieve results in an environment of high autonomy
Experience building and communicating compelling messages to C-level executives, with an ability to demonstrate logic, experience, facts, and a passion in influencing others
