Job Description

The PayPal sales organization acquires merchant and partners via direct and indirect sales teams. The global sales operations team supports the functions essential to the global sales force. These functions include planning, sales training and onboarding, process optimization, compensation design and administration, sales tools management and administration, sales and partner reporting, rev share and account management.

The Director of Global Sales Enablement will be a proven leader with exceptional organization, communication, training, and process skills. This person will have a proven track record of accelerating sales knowledge, comprehension, and experience for global sales teams. This leaders will work with multiple teams across the organization impact sales productivity and outcomes by improving product go to market, instituting best practices, and developing and delivering best-in-class training, assets, tools, processes and communications across our global sales teams. He | She will accomplish this by managing our global sales enablement team that creates tools, processes and programs to improve sales productivity and quality. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to gain deep knowledge and understanding PayPal products and services, our value proposition, and the target markets we serve. The role reports to the VP of Global Sales Operations.

  • Design, create and implement a comprehensive sales enablement program (to include tools, processes, programs and accreditations)

  • Improve time to competency while reducing time to revenue through the execution of sales enablement program, including new hire on-boarding and ongoing sales development.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify knowledge gaps across the company, conduct ongoing needs assessments and roll out targeted programs

  • Leverage Product Management and Product Marketing where appropriate for content and deliver global go to market materials to our sales teams.

  • Insure skills, knowledge and sales readiness of sales organization

  • Create and manage sales enablement tools and enablement materials that support the sales force in their revenue generating efforts
