The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting or debugging complex EDA software programs. Additionally, you will be working on the design, and implementation of the cutting-edge Transaction based Acceleration technology used on Palladium Simulation Acceleration Platforms.
Minimum Education/Minimum Experience: B.E Computer Science or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Preferred: M.Tech/M.S or higher in Computer Science with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Must have very strong C and C++ and scripting software development skills in a UNIX environment.
Experience with functional verification (HVLs like verilog, systemVerilog or "e") needed along with some experience in concurrent (multi-threaded) programming.
Experience in performance optimization of software at language and instruction level is very desirable as you will be working on performance optimization of transaction based acceleration systems.
Knowledge of transaction based acceleration standards like SCEMI is a big plus. In addition knowledge of working on PCIe at the protocol level and stack level is required.
Must have demonstrated excellent problem solving skills, data structure design, and the ability to work on large software systems.
You are well renowned for your excellent programming skills in C/C++. You have earned your colors on a UNIX development environment.
You are also a great communicator and love the challenge of interacting with multiple development teams and working in a high caliber team yourself.
