Perform any necessary diagnostic evaluation of the problem through contact with the user, (either via phone, e-mail, or in-person) and/or use of special tools, such as remote access technology. Log and track calls using issue management database, maintain history records and related issue documentation. Perform diagnostic, troubleshoot and fix PC hardware and software issues. Analyze and correct issues using documented procedures, available tools, personal knowledge and existing skills. Ensure timely resolution/escalation of user issues by documenting the impact to the user and assigning the appropriate priority. Resolve remote access issues, printing issues and network connectivity issues. Manage P1 and P2 ticket escalations. Manage ticket ownership through guidelines and documented SLAs. Inform the customer at the conclusion of the solutions process that the issue is resolved. Pursue personal training to develop the necessary skills to provide adequate support the environment.
