As an intern on the Talent Acquisition team, you will be able to gain experience in the entire recruiting process, from phone screen to onboarding. During this 6-month(40hrs per week) internship you will be immersed in the Cadence culture while supporting recruiters from different areas of the business.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupport recruiters and hiring managers with new hires in North America• Audit requisitions and offers for accuracy and compliance• Draft offer letters• Complete data entry on all new hires• Submit background checks• Meet with new hires on their first day• Facilitate and complete I-9 forms and E-Verify• Work with the Immigration Manager to coordinate immigration and relocationEnsure each candidate has a positive and efficient experience Coordinate recruiting event logistics (e.g., job fairs, open houses, diversity outreach program events)
Skills & Qualifications• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in school with an interest in working in recruiting• Ability to work full-time in the San Jose office• People oriented and ability to partner with individuals at all levels• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously• Strong written and oral communication skills• Detail oriented• Computer literacy including proficiency with MS Office applications• Quick learner and a self-starter
