IBM WW Services Sales Execution Leader in San Jose, California
The WW Services Sales Execution Leader will be responsible for the Execution of the Services Sales Organization worldwide, including deal execution and the overall monitoring of the health of the business, including pipeline reporting and seller achievement.
Sales Execution - Ensure accurate representation and progression of pipeline at a segment, geography and seller level.
Evangelist - Promote the message of SaaS and On Premise services across the various geographies worldwide.
Alignment - Align and support additional sales through multiple organizations that also carry selling authority.
The WW Services Sales Execution Leader will possess the experience and knowledge to operate the execution function of a sales organization through successful and historical team-level attainment of quota.
This means that the WW Services Sales Execution Leader has the ability to successfully create meaningful views of pipeline, support forecasting, assist in the construction of pipeline plans and understand the overall health of the business. Also the ability to look through the mechanics of a particular deal and provide executive coaching and source supporting characters for the sale are key components of the role. This role will be accountable for growth within existing services sales markets and leadership of the organization in the area of sales execution.
Skills and experience include:
• Sales / Business Development Leadership experience
• Proven ability to create pipeline growth strategies
• Demonstrated leadership ability within Services Sales and historical success in attainment of financial goals
• Excellent client interaction and relationship building skills with ability to work executive management
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, organization and teaming skills.
The individual we seek will be a proven, successful Sales Leader with enthusiasm for selling Services Sales. He/She will have a high energy level, excellent communication skills and able to garner immediate respect and acceptance based on experience, eminence in the relevant community, intelligence and interpersonal skills.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5 years leading sales team with people management responsibility
Minimum 10 years selling software or services
High level of consistency
Excellent communication skills (listening, influencing, persuading)
Proactive, willing to take ownership and initiative
English is a must and any other languages are an advantage
Strong administrative skills & Time management
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
- Working in matrix organization would be an advantage
